Hey there, I'm Megan! I grew up on a small island in Alaska with two faithful Christian parents and 3 younger sisters who I love dearly. In my teenage and young adult years the Lord intentionally brought me through  trials of a similar nature. One would end, and would bleed into the next. For many years I felt heartbroken, tired, and extremely discouraged. I wondered and pleaded with God as to why these trials seemed to fall like dominos with no break, and why were they all the same? I felt him telling me it was because I wasn't learning what he was trying to perfect in me. I affrim that to be true now, hindsight is 20/20.

God has done a wonderful growth and shaping in my life that was only possible because of the trials I endured, and He is not done yet. Isn't it exciting that God keeps growing us for the rest of our earthly lives? That's a faithful father. The hardship God has allowed in my life has taught me a lot about loving other people, rebuking fear, and living for HIM first. I really feel like God is giving me words to say so I am starting to reach and out and trust him in this new exciting endeavour.

This blog is a fight agaisnt fear. I have been sitting here writing, rewriting, and rewriting again because I am scared. I know people will read my work and I know they will probably think and say negative things. I have already wondered multiple times if portential negative reaction is 'worth' following God's prompting. YES IT IS WORTH IT! Because, 'The life I now live I live for the Son of God who loved me and gave himself for me' and not for people.
